The Disaster Response Collaborative (DRC) aimed to improve pediatric disaster response capability and capacity among children’s hospitals. This enduring recording series features previously held monthly learning sessions with leaders, subject matter experts, and peers. These recordings are now available to a broader audience and provide learners the opportunity to explore the collaborative structure and expectations, hear expert discussions on the four pediatric focus areas/topics, and review opportunities related to tabletop exercises and drills.
New to Pediatric Disaster Preparedness?
The Disaster Response Collaborative (DRC) builds upon concepts introduced in the Disaster Networking Collaborative (DNC), which focused on foundational pediatric disaster preparedness, organizational readiness, and emergency management partnerships. Learners who are new to pediatric disaster preparedness may benefit from exploring Pediatric Preparedness Playback: The Disaster Networking Collaborative before diving into the Disaster Response Collaborative (DRC) sessions.
Learners may obtain a PPN Certificate and/or continuing education credit by completing all required elements for each session, including watching the video, submitting the attendance code, and completing the evaluation. Instructions for claiming credit will be provided at the end of each section.
Activities may be completed in any order. Participants may claim credit or a participation certificate for each individual activity as it is completed.
