      • Explain why it is important to have protocols for pediatric patient tracking and family reunification in your hospital’s disaster plan.
      • Discuss questions/strategies for for performing an intake of each child and asking questions of parents/guardians to ensure unaccompanied children are reunited with their family accurately and effectively.
      • Describe options for set-up and staffing various areas within a family reunification or support center (e.g., family intake center, pediatric safe area, family reunification site, confidential areas for family updates and notifications).
