    • The Disaster Response Collaborative (DRC) builds on the infrastructure formed during the DNC and supports children’s hospitals to improve their disaster preparedness plans and be able to respond effectively to various disasters. The collaborative focuses on 4 topics: Evacuation, Pediatric Surge Capacity, Pediatric Patient Tracking and Family Reunification, and Triage, Infection Control, and Decontamination.       In session 9, learners hear from DNC teams about their QI projects and how to move from disaster preparedness through having a robust infrastructure to disaster preparedness through planning and response.

      • Compare various strategies on how DNC teams assessed gaps and designed and implemented improvements in preparedness.
      • Identify examples teams used to connect with their c-suite or leadership, expand disaster roles, and engage with the emergency management landscape.
