• Interactive Cases: Pediatric Trauma

      Step into high-stakes, real-world scenarios. Through interactive decision points, you’ll take an active role in assessing patients, prioritizing care, and/or managing limited resources while balancing clinical urgency with ethical considerations. The scenarios emphasize how pediatric patients have unique vulnerabilities in emergencies, requiring specialized approaches to triage, treatment, and communication.  

      In this problem-based learning exercise, available in both English and Spanish, you will learn how to:

      • Recognize the features and understand the approach to pediatric trauma patients 

      • Manage traumatic injuries in mass casualty events
