Continuous Evaluation and Improvement

Regularly evaluate the Child Reunification Focus Group’s membership, capabilities, and areas of responsibility to identify missing components, resources, or subject matter expertise.

After drills, exercises, activations, and real-world incidents, review the reunification plan to confirm that it includes all essential child-focused considerations and capabilities.

Improvements identified through child reunification planning should also be incorporated into broader reunification procedures whenever they can strengthen the response for all affected individuals and families.
