Children

Depending on their age, children may require additional items in their disaster kit. Children can participate in disaster preparedness and planning. You can engage children in a scavenger hunt to help collect these items.

Infants

  • Diapers and wipes
  • Milk or formula
  • Pacifier
  • Thermos to keep things hot or cold
  • Trash bag for soiled diapers

School-Age Children

  • Paper and markers/crayons
  • Snacks
  • Stuffed animal or blanket for comfort
  • Toy/Book/Game to keep them occupied
