This offering is currently closed to beta reviewers. Contact us if you would like to join the beta review team. All welcome, no previous experience necessary.

Step into a high-stakes, real-world scenario where clinical decisions, teamwork, and adaptability are put to the test. This immersive exercise challenges learners to navigate a complex global child health situation—mirroring the kinds of crises healthcare professionals may face during disasters, pandemics, or resource-limited emergencies.

Through interactive decision points, you’ll take on an active role in assessing patients, prioritizing care, and managing limited resources while balancing clinical urgency with ethical considerations. The interactive case scenario emphasizes how pediatric patients have unique vulnerabilities in emergencies, requiring specialized approaches to triage, treatment, and communication.

What You Will Learn

By the end of this exercise, you will be able to:

  • Initiate rapid clinical assessment and decision-making under pressure

  • Identify crisis resource management and prioritization

  • Determine interprofessional communication and teamwork

  • Explain ethical reasoning in constrained environments

  • Apply global health principles to pediatric care

By the end of the exercise, you will not only strengthen clinical knowledge but also gain confidence in navigating uncertainty—an essential skill for protecting children’s health in any crisis.
