Children
Depending on their age, children may require additional items in their disaster kit. Children can participate in disaster preparedness and planning. You can engage children in a scavenger hunt to help collect these items.
Infants
- Diapers and wipes
- Milk or formula
- Pacifier
- Thermos to keep things hot or cold
- Trash bag for soiled diapers
School-Age Children
- Paper and markers/crayons
- Snacks
- Stuffed animal or blanket for comfort
- Toy/Book/Game to keep them occupied
