Pediatric Seizure for the Prehospital Provider

This module is available in two formats. Please select the option that best fits your needs:

  1. 0.75 CAPCE-Advanced Credit (for eligible EMS clinicians)
  2. 0.75 PPN Certificate of Completion (for all audiences)

Option 1: CAPCE Credit (EMS Clinicians Only)

To earn 0.75 CAPCE-Advanced Credit, you must complete the module through our partner platform (STARS).

  1. Click the red button below titled Access CAPCE Course in STARS.
  2. Create an account or log in.
    • After creating an account, click Back to Login.
    • Log in to enter your license information.
    • After viewing the introduction, click Proceed.
  3. On the home page, scroll down and click PPN to access the module.
  4. Complete the module, evaluation, and quiz.

Important: CAPCE credit is only issued through the STARS platform. PPN Learn and the PPN Continuing Education do not issue CAPCE credit for this module.


Option 2: PPN Certificate of Completion (All Audiences)

To earn a PPN Certificate of Completion, you will complete the learning activity in PPN Learn and claim your certificate through PPN Continuing Education.

Steps to Complete:

  1. Select the blue continue button under Enrollment Options below and self-enroll with your PPN Learn account.
  2. Complete the learning survey at the end of the module 
  3. Receive the attendance code
  4. Enter the code at the link provided
  5. Log in or create an account
  6. Claim your certificate
