Course summary
The goal of this activity is to help emergency department clinicians understand how to use National Pediatric Readiness Project (NPRP) Assessment results to identify gaps, prioritize improvement efforts, and implement practical strategies to enhance pediatric readiness in their emergency departments. Participants will learn about available pediatric readiness tools, resources, and implementation strategies that support safer, higher-quality care for children in both rural and urban ED settings.
What You Will Learn
- Interpret pediatric readiness gap report findings to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement within their emergency department.
- Describe available National Pediatric Readiness Project (NPRP) tools, resources, and educational programs that support Pediatric Readiness improvement efforts.
Continuing Education
Participants can earn up to 1.0 hours of continuing education (CE) credit. CE credit is available for physicians and nurses.
